Ajay Devgan And Kajol Wedding -Ajay Devgan was born in Punjab to Veena and Veeru Devgan. Initially from Mumbai, India, parts of The Mukherjee-Samarth Devagn family are all identified with the Hindi picture industry in Mumbai. His father, Veeru Devgan, is a well-known stunt choreographer and his mother Veena Devgan, a picture maker. Ajay's blood mate, Anil Devgan, is a Hindi picture executive. Ajay Devgan is a former student of the Silver Beach High School in Juhu and Mithibai College.

Kajol started dating associate character, Ajay Devgn, in 1994, while recording for Gundaraj. His performance won him the Best Actor award at the Filmfare ceremony for the second consecutive year. Shahrukh Khan's only release in 1999, Baadshah opposite Twinkle Khanna, was an average grosser, for which he earned a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Performance in a Comic Role. In the same year, Khan set up his own production company, Dreamz Unlimited with actor, Juhi Chawla and director, Aziz Mirza. In 2000, the three collaborated on their first film, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. The film opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike and failed to emulate the commercial success of the trio's previous films, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman and Yes Boss.

Kajol Devgan born 5 August, better known as Kajol, is an Indian film actress appearing in Hindi films. She is regarded as one of India's most successful and talented female actors. During her career, Kajol has received six Filmfare Awards, among eleven nominations and along with her late aunt Nutan, holds the record for most Best Actress wins at the Filmfare Awards, with five. In 2011, the Government of India honoured her with the Padma Shri for her contribution to Indian Cinema.

Kajol made her acting debut in the film Bekhudi and had her first commercial success with her second film Baazigar opposite Shahrukh Khan, later with whom she has done several popular movies such as Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Her performances in all three of these films were praised and earned her Filmfare Awards for Best Actress. Some of her other films of this period include Yeh Dillagi, Gupt: The Hidden Truth, Dushman and Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha.

Kajol was born in Mumbai of Bengali-Marathi descent. Her mother Tanuja is an actress, while her late father Shomu Mukherjee was a film director and producer. He died after suffering from a cardiac arrest in 2008. Her maternal aunt is the late actress Nutan and her maternal grandmother Shobhna Samarth and great grandmother Rattan Bai had both been involved in Hindi cinema.

Her paternal uncles are film producers; Joy Mukherjee and Deb Mukherjee. Kajol's paternal grandfather, Sashadhar Mukherjee, was a filmmaker. Kajol's paternal grandmother, Satirani Devi, was sister of Ashok Kumar, Anoop Kumar and Kishore Kumar. Kajol's cousins Rani Mukerji, Sharbani Mukherjee and Mohnish Behl are also Bollywood actors; whereas her cousin Ayan Mukerji is a director. Kajol's younger sister Tanisha Mukherjee is also an actress.

Kajol married Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan on 24 February 1999. The couple has 2 children, a daughter named Nysa and a son named Yug.
